Blessing for the Borough

Blessing for the Borough

Lord, You say in your word that You are the Lord of Peace. Will You, the Lord of Peace give Ealing Your peace at all times and in every situation. We bless the Borough with rest, releasing people from busyness and frustration, so that they can have hope and experience the glorious abundant life You desire to give.

Lord, bless the eyes and the minds of the people of this Borough to enable them to see and understand the vastness of the love You have for Ealing and how You long for her to become Your radiant Queen of the Suburbs. We bless Ealing with all she needs to do Your will, with wise conduct, godly stewardship, effective administration and conscientious working practices.

Lord, bless the people of Ealing with a new spirit and a warm and responsive heart. Bless the local council planners with wisdom and understanding to enable them to restore the soul back into Ealing so that it will once again become a place of beauty and fruitfulness. Lord, bless each area of the Borough to work well and in unity with all the other parts, bringing healthy growth and love for everyone that will result in glory to Your name. Bless church leaders with clarity of vision for Your big picture and bless every step taken in unity by Your people.

We bless every school, college and university in Ealing to acquire the right knowledge and understanding through study and training. Lord, bless each doctor’s surgery and hospital with freedom from infection and the ability to heal people in body, mind and spirit.

We bless every home in Ealing in the name of Jesus, and every godly business, that they may be fruitful. Lord, bless the ethnic diversity throughout the Borough that each group would reach out to embrace the others and be integrated into the wider society. We bless the hearts of the people in this community in the name of Jesus that they may become increasingly receptive to the Good News of Jesus and the manifest Presence of God.

Amen
