Please Pray for...

Choices Crisis Pregnancy Support Centre
Give thanks for the volunteers and the time and effort they put in. Please pray for encouragement and for strength in their busy lives, and for the new volunteers in training.
We praise God for the 12 years of Choices existence and of God’s faithfulness over the years. Please pray that those in need of advice, support and a listening ear may continue to find Choices.
Pray that the funding will be forthcoming to enable them to continue to employ Jo Jenks (Centre Manager) and Lanre Elliot (equipment service).
Choices AGM & Prayer: Tuesday 7th February, 7.30 pm, at IPC, 53 Drayton Green, W13 0JE

Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter
Please continue to pray for the Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter and particularly as the second group of churches take over on Sunday 19th February.
Pray that those involved with the referral system will know God’s wisdom as to which referrals should be accepted as many have very high needs but there is only a certain level of support that the shelters can manage at this stage. Pray also for wisdom and God’s guidance about the level of medical help it is appropriate to offer.
Please continue to pray for all the volunteers and guests, particularly two who have mobility problems. Pray for strength and courage to carry on.
Give thanks for all the good experiences that are coming out of this project for all concerned.
For more information on the project, go to their website– www.ecwns.org.uk

Ealing Soup Kitchen
We give thanks to God for His amazing blessing and provision on the ministry to the homeless in Ealing during 2011 in spite of the increase in numbers and more food being needed. More volunteers for the teams have arisen to the challenge, so pray that God will continue to bless their service.
Thank God for the church teams who opened the doors of the Soup Kitchen during the Christmas period.
Please pray for the co-ordinator Julian Lloyd as he works with the soup kitchen teams, and Daphne Edwards, “Worker with Homeless People”, as she continues to work with the guests so they can improve their lifestyle and find faith in God.
Pray also for Café Church as many of the guests regularly attend each Sunday, and for The Friday Hub as people come to receive housing advice, involve themselves in art, hairdressing, and various other activities - may they find a warmth and friendship as they enter the Crypt.

Partnership
As we have been considering events in 2012, we sense that this is going to be a very significant year. We anticipate a spiritual shift taking place during this immediate season ahead and we want to be on the cusp of what the Spirit is initiating. We want to be ready when this happens and to respond accordingly. We also believe that this means working in partnership with others including those organisations we regularly support in prayer. We are already in contact with “Love Hanwell”, Ealing Street Pastors, Megacities (hundreds of young people from YWAM coming to the Borough throughout the year from around the world to help local churches) and the National Prayer Gathering at Wembley Stadium on 29th September.
